The SEDA, SIEDN and Community Futures Saskatchewan are coming together in 2022 to host

PROVINCIAL SUMMIT: Growing Communities One Idea at a Time

Join us on September 27 and 28, 2022 at Dakota Dunes Resort to talk about our future in Saskatchewan.
Our two-day program will focus on three broad themes:
How can we set the bar higher with inclusive economic development? Learn from sustainable Indigenous community models, as well as how innovation can drive inclusivity. The road to social and economic parity is a broad one and our program will include information on new initiatives for individuals facing barriers to employment.
What game-changer strategies will assist us to future-proof our communities? Explore talent development, resilient community-based enterprises, and infrastructure that will assist us to meet uncertainty head on.
How can we leverage the interdependence of community and business by growing entrepreneurship ecosystems? Social entrepreneurship is driving consumer loyalty—how can we expand social entrepreneurship in Saskatchewan? What is the new role for incubators, accelerators, hubs, and intermediaries? Learn which ecosystem models can be transferred to rural Saskatchewan and how a regional supply chain is central to a healthy ecosystem.
